Main leaders of 15 parties will attend the upcoming opposition meeting in Patna: Tejashwi Yadav

Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav today said that almost 15 parties will attend the upcoming opposition meet in Patna on June 23.

Tejashwi Yadav said that from every party, not just a representative but a main leader will attend the meeting. While, Yadav mentioned that he was not able to establish communication with Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao over the same. Several prominent opposition leaders including Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, TMC chief Mamata Banerjee, Akhilesh Yadav, Uddhav Thackeray will attend the opposition meeting to be convened by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. NCP chief Sharad Pawar too has confirmed that he will attending the opposition leaders meet. 

The meeting was earlier scheduled to be held on 12 June, however was later postponed due to unavailability of several leaders. The meeting is aimed at laying the groundwork for the coming together of like-minded Opposition parties to defeat the BJP in next year's Lok Sabha elections.
