Uttarakhand Congress leaders meet Kharge, Rahul Gandhi; 2024 LS polls on agenda

Top Congress leaders from Uttarakhand today chaired a meeting with party president Mallikarjun Kharge and former chief Rahul Gandhi to review the party's preparedness for the upcoming Lok Sabha (LS) elections.

The former Uttarakhand chief minister Harish Rawat, PCC president Karan Mahara, AICC in-charge for the state Devender Yadav, AICC general secretary organisation K C Venugopal and many senior leaders were attended the meeting at the party headquarters in Delhi. During this meeting, the party’s preparations for the upcoming LS polls were discussed. 

In this meeting, Mallikarjun Kharge said the Congress is committed to environment-friendly development of Himalayan states. He said that the party has taken a pledge to work for the flood victims and will fulfill it. He further said that the Congress will keep raising the voice of the people of the state. Earlier, a similar meeting was held with leaders of the Maharashtra Congress unit.
