MP assembly polls: Former CM Kamal Nath files nomination from Chhindwara

Former Chief Minister (CM) of Madhya Pradesh and state Congress chief Kamal Nath today filed his nomination from Chhindwara assembly seat for the upcoming assembly elections.

Before filing the nomination, Former CM said that he had especially selected auspicious time (Muhurt) to file the nomination for the upcoming poll. He said that he has complete faith in the voters of Chhindwara. ‘They have not just given me votes, but also love and respect for all these years, he added. Chhindwara has been considered the Nath family turf for nearly 40 years.  

Kamal Nath slammed current CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan saying that in 18 years, Shivraj Singh Chouhan has pushed Madhya Pradesh into corruption, has given inflation and ruined the state. He also claimed that CM Chouhan was a great artist, he did not focus on unemployment, did not pay attention to farmers but only talked a lot. On October 15, the Congress party announced its first list of candidates for the Madhya Pradesh Assembly election 2023, which also featured Kamal Nath. The 230-member Madhya Pradesh assembly will go to polls on November 17 and the counting of votes will take place on December 03.
