India Trapped in Chakravyuh led by PM Modi: Rahul Gandhi

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said that the country is trapped in a 'chakravyuh', which is represented by the Lotus symbol (of the BJP).

Addressing in the Lok Sabha today, the Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi slammed the BJP stating that ‘there's an atmosphere of fear in the country’ and even BJP MPs are scared. Referring to the BJP's symbol, he remarked that the country is now trapped in a ‘chakravyuh’ (framework) just like the warrior Abhimanyu was trapped in one by the Kauravas.

Rahul Gandhi said, ‘In Kurukshetra, six people trapped Abhimanyu in a 'Chakravyuh' and killed him... I did a little research and found out that 'Chakravyuh' is also known as 'Padmavuyh' - which means 'Lotus formation'. Chakravyuh is in the shape of a Lotus. In the 21st century, a new 'Chakravyuh' has been formed - that too in the form of a Lotus. Prime Minister wears its symbol on his chest’. He further said, ‘What they did with Abhimanyu, the same has been done with Hindustan its youth, farmers, women and MSMEs. Just like six people killed Abhimanyu, six people are at the centre of the Chakravyuh controlling it - Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Mohan Bhagwat, Ajit Doval, Adani and Ambani’.

Congress leader said that the youths have been trapped in the Agniveer 'chakravyuh' and there are no provisions in the Budget for the pension for Agniveers. Responding to the Union budget, Mr Gandhi said that the framework of this Budget is to strengthen their monopoly business, a political monopoly that destroys the democratic structure of the deep state and the agencies. He further criticized Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for not mentioning the paper-leak issue in the Budget speech, which he said is the biggest issue affecting youth.
