Asian markets traded mostly lower in early deals on Tuesday, pressured by the risk aversion in the market ahead to this week’s US inflation data and on woes that policy proposals by US President-elect Donald Trump, including increased tariffs might complicate the US Fed's interest-rate plans. Sharp sell-off in financial and technological sector stocks also saddled equity investments. Hang Seng plunged to lowest in three weeks amid caution ahead of Chinese activity data for October, including industrial output and retail sales, due later in the week.
