LTIMindtree, HG Infra Engineering and Indian Hotels to see some action today

LTIMindtree has entered into a strategic partnership with GitHub, the most widely adopted Copilot-powered developer platform. HG Infra Engineering has received the letter of acceptance (LoA) from Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MORTH) for the project of improvement and up-gradation in two lane with paved shoulders configuration of newly declared NH227B Bahuvan Madar Majha to Jagarnathpur (Design Km 160.200 to Km 224.040) 84 Kosi Parikrama Marg in the State of Uttar Pradesh on Hybrid Annuity Mode Package VI. The bid project cost is Rs 763.11 crore and the construction period is 2 years.

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has signed a hotel in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. This brownfield project will be branded as Gateway. Spread across 6 acres, the 125-key Gateway Rishikesh offers panoramic views of the Ganges River and the surrounding ghats. It will offer an all-day diner, specialty restaurant and the bar. Guests can relax and unwind at the spa, pool and at the state-of-the-art gym. 

Kernex Micro Systems (India) has been awarded a significant contract worth Rs 2,041 ,04 crore by Chittaranjan Locomotive Works, Ministry of Railways, Government of India. This landmark order involves the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of 2,500 sets of On-board KAVACH equipment, in line with RDSO Specification. The project, a vital step in advancing railway safety and modernization, is slated for completion within 12 months. 

Asian Granito India has entered into Joint Venture agreement (JVA) with Shudh Investments and Klyn Stone of UK to acquire shares of Klyn AGL, A Joint Venture Company (JVC) incorporated in England & Wales to do trading business of Large Porcelain Slabs, all type of tiles and Quartz products in and around United Kingdom by way of a JVC viz. Klyn AGL. 

Bajaj Finserv’s unlisted insurance subsidiary -- Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company has reported gross direct premium underwritten of Rs 1,364.67 crore in the month of November 2024 as compared to Rs 1,219.01 crore in same period a year ago, i.e up by 11.95%. Besides, gross direct premium underwritten up-to-the month of November 2024 stood at Rs 15,781.54 crore. 

Adani ports and special economic zone has announced that it will use its own resources to fund a Sri Lankan port project and not seek US funding. The project is on track for commissioning by early next year and added that the company will fund the ongoing project through internal accruals, aligning with its capital management strategy. The company said it has withdrawn its 2023 request for financing from the US International Development Finance Corporation (DFC).
