Gland Pharma, Veranda Learning Solutions and Waaree Energies to see some action today

Gland Pharma has received approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for Phytonadione Injectable Emulsion USP, 10 mg/mL Single Dose Ampules. The Product is bioequivalent and therapeutically equivalent to the reference listed drug (RLD), Vitamin K1 Injectable Emulsion USP, 10 mg/mL, of Hospira, Inc. 

Veranda Learning Solutions has received approvals to raise funds for an amount up to Rs 250 crore through preferential issue. The funds raised will be directed towards acquisitions, deferred consideration payouts, and to grow its existing business. This preferential raise is part of the broader fund-raising plan to be completed this financial year. 

Waaree Energies’ wholly owned subsidiary -- Waaree Forever Energies has received Letter of Award (LoA) for the development of 170 MW Solar power plant in Madhya Pradesh, from Rewa Ultra Mega Solar (RUMSL). The Solar power plant will enable the generation and transmission of clean energy via the Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS). The project will supply renewable energy to Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company Ltd and Indian Railways thus contributing significantly to India’s renewable energy goals.

Shriram Finance has successfully completed the sale of its entire stake (i.e., 84.44% of the shareholding on a fully diluted basis) in its housing finance subsidiary Shriram Housing Finance (SHFL) to Warburg Pincus, a leading global growth investor firm for a sale consideration of Rs 3,929 crore.

The exhibits include CPCB IV+ compliant Tata Motors Gensets available from 25kVA to 125kVA power range, CEV BS V emission-compliant industrial engines from 55-138hp power nodes, live axles, and trailer axles and components. The solutions are designed to address to meet the evolving needs of material handling, construction equipment, industrial applications and logistics segments, and are engineered for high efficiency and durability.

Usha Martin’s wholly owned subsidiary -- Usha Martin Americas Inc. (UMAI) has completed acquisition of 2.02% of the share capital of Usha Siam Steel Industries Public Company (USSIL), a subsidiary of the Company from Kobelco Wire Company. Consequent to the aforesaid acquisition, USSIL has become a step down wholly owned subsidiary of the Company.

Shakti Pumps (India) has received a letter of empanelment from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company for 25000 Stand-alone Off-Grid DC Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems (SPWPS) pumps for the entire state of Maharashtra under Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Scheme. The total value of the 25000 pumps is around Rs 754.30 crore (inclusive of GST) which is to be executed within 60 days from the issuance of NTP/work order.
