Kingfisher Airlines to be part of global alliance ‘oneworld’ from February

Kingfisher Airlines (KFA) will pioneer as the first carrier from the Indian subcontinent to join any global airline group. The company will join and will be part of global alliance ‘oneworld’ from Feb 10, 2012.

Entry into oneworld means member passengers of King Club frequent flyer programme can earn and redeem mileage awards on all ‘oneworld’ partners and get access to over 550 airport lounges worldwide.

The ‘oneworld’ partners list includes big prominent names in the aviation sector such as American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Fin Air, Iberia, Japan Airlines, LAN Airlines, Hungarian Airlines, Qantas, Royal Jordanian, and S7Airlines.
