Balaji Telefilms spurts on disposing off land admeasuring about 38,870 sq mts

Balaji Telefilms is currently trading at Rs. 32.00, up by 0.70 points or 2.24% from its previous closing of Rs. 31.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 32.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 33.80 and Rs. 29.60 respectively. So far 164661 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 42.95 on 31-Dec-2010 and a 52 week low of Rs. 26.70 on 22-Aug-2011.

Balaji Telefilms has disposed off land admeasuring about 38,870 sq mts situated within the limits of Mira Bhyanader Municipal Corporation.

Earlier in June 2009, the company had invested in the said land for the purpose of building its studios.

Balaji Telefilms is a leading content provider in the television segment. It started operations in 1995-96 with serials like Mano Ya Na Mano and Hum Paanch. Currently it is the producer of several leading serials on major channels like Star Plus, 9X, Sony TV, Zee TV and SUN TV network, etc.
