State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur gains on revising interest rates on domestic term deposits

State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur is currently trading at Rs. 317.05, up by 2.80 points or 0.89% from its previous closing of Rs. 314.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 315.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 318.90 and Rs. 313.45 respectively. So far 1992 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 600.00 on 10-May-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs. 308.00 on 20-Dec-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 326.00 and Rs. 308.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2199.75 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.07% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 6.06% and 18.87% respectively. 

State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur has revised the interest rates payable on domestic term deposit for amount less than Rs 50 lakhs.

For tenure ranging from 1 year to less than 3 years the bank has revised the rate of interest to 9.50% per annum while for same tenure senior citizen will get 50 basis point extra i.e 10.00% per annum.

Further for tenure ranging from 7 days and upto 180 days the bank has revised the rate of interest to 8.50% per annum. This rate will be applicable for deposits amounting to Rs 50 lakh and above up to Rs 1 crore and also for deposit ranging for Rs 1 crore and above.

The bank has decided to revise rates payable with effective from December 23, 2011.
