Tata Comm eyes cloud technology to help clients increase productivity

In a bid to help clients increase productivity and cut costs on the back of solutions such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and e-mail, Tata Communications is eying on cloud technology.

With new solutions like human resource management coming on cloud, the demand for the technology will only grow. Cloud computing facilitates sharing of technological resources, software and digital information. It operates on a pay-per-use model, helping companies to cut costs as they do not have to invest heavily in infrastructure.

The company also offers a cloud-based solution for global contact centre industry. Intelligent Call Routing (ICR) and Interactive Voice Response (IVR) products offer an integrated solution for routing and distributing calls across multi-geography and multi-site call centres.

Recently, the company expanded its product boutique with another addition to its InstaApps Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) portfolio in the form of Human Capital Management (HCM) - InstaHCM.
