Pricol soars as HDFC Mutual Fund buys 25.40 lakh shares of the company

Pricol is currently trading at Rs. 43.25, up by 2.95 points or 7.32% from its previous closing of Rs. 40.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 40.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 43.80 and Rs. 40.90 respectively. So far 757049 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 43.80 on 20-Jun-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 14.50 on 22-Aug-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 43.80 and Rs. 35.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 404.93 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 38.63% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 2.06% and 59.31% respectively.

HDFC Mutual Fund has bought 25.40 lakh shares of Pricol through open market route. The shares were purchased on an average price of Rs 39 valuing the transaction to Rs 9.91 crore. On the other hand, Precot Meridian has sold 26.72 lakh shares of the company for an average price of Rs 39.01 through open market route.

Pricol is engaged in the manufacture and export of a complete range of automotive components starting from instrument clusters, dashboard meters, fuel sensors, oil pressure switches, speedometer drive cables, fuel cut off valve, filter suction, etc.
