Gravita India to set-up used car battery recycling plant in Trinidad & Tobago

In a bid to strengthen its global presence, Gravita India has decided to set-up a Used Car Battery Recycling plant in The Republic of Trinidad & Tobago. In this regard, Managing Director of Gravita India Rajat Agrawal and Chairman of invest T&T (Trade Promotion & Investment Promotion Agency of T&T) Brien Fontin has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the facilitation of Investment in Trinidad & Tobago. Gravita is operating three plants in India and seven plants overseas.

The company is determined for the safety of environment. It is a public listed company since November 2010 and the investors as well as shareholders have benefited from their investment. The company has plans to set up three more plants in near future.

Gravita India along with its subsidiaries has business across border in about 44 countries. The company deals in Lead and Lead related products. The major products of the company comprise of pure Lead, Refined Lead Ingots, Lead Alloy, Red Lead, Litharge etc. The company is also engaged into trading activities and supply of Lead plants and turnkey projects.
