Sky Industries zooms on the BSE

Sky Industries is currently trading at Rs. 28.50, up by 0.90 points or 3.26% from its previous closing of Rs. 27.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 27.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 28.50 and Rs. 27.50 respectively.

The BSE group 'T' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 165.00 on 18-Feb-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs. 25.25 on 21-Oct-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 29.25 and Rs. 26.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 10.94 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 43.69% while Non-Institutions held 56.31%.

Sky Industries’ certain workmen of one of the units have unduly protested against company's disciplinary proceedings and have stopped the production. To control the situation management is making all the possible efforts. Further it is not expected to affect the company’s overall operations significantly.

Sky Industries is India's largest manufacturer of hook and loop tape fasteners with a monthly production capacity of 86 lakh meters from their state of art manufacturing facility at New Bombay. They are also the largest manufacturer of all kinds of elastics and other narrow fabrics and recipient of Golden Trophy from the Government of India, for the highest exports from India.
