Indian Bank declines as FIIs trim stake

Indian Bank is currently trading at Rs. 149.80, down by 1.25 points or 0.83% from its previous closing of Rs. 151.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 150.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 150.75 and Rs. 148.70 respectively. So far 4475 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 198.90 on 26-May-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 71.60 on 29-Oct-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 155.70 and Rs. 148.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6963.43 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 81.51% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 14.57% and 3.92% respectively.

Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) have reduced their stake in Indian Bank by 73 basis points to 6.16 percent at the end of September 2014 quarter from 6.89 percent as on June 30, 2014. However, domestic institutional investors (DIIs) have raised their shareholding in the bank by 193 basis points to 8.41 percent in Q2FY15 from 6.48 percent as on June 30, 2014.

Meanwhile, non institutions were holding 3.92 percent stake at the end of September 2014, down 12 basis points from 5.12 percent as on June 30, 2014. While, corporate bodies were holding 0.7 percent stake at the end of September 2014, down 108 basis points from 1.78 percent as on June 30, 2014. Further, promoters’ shareholding was unchanged at 81.51 percent at the end of September 2014.
