L&T has won Rs 1,383 crore worth orders for power transmission and distribution work, material handling and water projects. It has received two orders totalling Rs 811 crore for construction of 3x132 kV substations at Al Wathba, Mohd Bin Zayed City, including Sudha Port Fujairah (UAE).

 

The Oman Electricity Transmission Company has awarded a contract to the company for setting up a 132/33 kV substation at Quariyat Area. In the domestic market, the company has got three orders for Rs 204 crore. This includes construction of one 220/66 kV substation at Bangalore, 220kV substation at Dhule and Bhableshwar in Maharashtra, which includes conversion of 11 kV overhead lines to underground cabling network in Margao for the Goa Electricity Department.

 

A Rs 239-crore order is from Indian Oil. The work at Paradip involves construction of storm-water drains, reservoir, sea outfall pipeline and lift station, besides supply of pump machinery. Orders worth Rs 129 crore have also been secured for add-on works to ongoing projects.crackcrack
