The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 58.45 on 21-Apr-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs. 17.25 on 02-Jan-2012.

Suzlon Energy (SEL), the world's fifth leading and India's largest wind turbine manufacturer, has inked a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Government of Andhra Pradesh for the development of wind capacity in the state totaling 3,000 MW between 2012 and 2016, creating potential investments of up to Rs 18,000 crore.
Under the MOU the Andhra Pradesh government will facilitate Suzlon Energy in obtaining necessary permissions, registrations, approvals and clearances for the development of the wind farms. The company in turn, will play the role of a developer and facilitate the channelization of investments into the state through its customers investing in wind energy.
The MOU was signed under the auspices of the Partnership Summit 2012 in the presence of chief minister of Andhra Pradesh.
