Amara Raja Batteries shines on plan to set up plant for manufacturing tabular batteries

Amara Raja Batteries is currently trading at Rs. 723.00, up by 19.35 points or 2.75% from its previous closing of Rs. 703.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 705.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 730.00 and Rs. 687.00 respectively. So far 103395 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 730.00 on 12-Nov-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 308.00 on 13-Nov-2013.

Amara Raja Batteries has received an approval for setting up a plant for manufacturing tabular batteries. The board of directors at their meeting held on November 11, 2014 has approved for the same.

Amara Raja Batteries is engaged in manufacturing of industrial and automotive batteries. It was founded in 1985. ARBL was first to introduce Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) batteries with three-year warranty in industrial and automotive applications.
