SEAMEC rises on entering into a charter with Technip

SEAMEC is currently trading at Rs. 94.40, up by 2.40 points or 2.61% from its previous closing of Rs. 92.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 94.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 94.40 and Rs. 94.40 respectively.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 131.00 on 21-Jan-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs. 75.00 on 30-Dec-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 96.65 and Rs. 82.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 320.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.00% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 6.81% and 18.19% respectively.

SEAMEC has entered into a charter with Technip for charter hire of ‘ALLIANCE’ vessel in Gabon and Congo in West Africa. The tenure of the contract would be around 200 days in Gabon with option for extension and 100 days in Congo with option for extension. The total contract value for the firm period would be around $15 million approximately.

Earlier, SEAMEC had entered into a bare boat charter for vessel ‘ALLIANCE’ with the company’s wholly owned subsidiary in Dubai, UAE - SEAMEC INTERNATIONAL FZE.

SEAMEC is engaged in the business of operating multi-support vessels for diving and for providing underwater/sub-sea engineering services, deep sea diving, and inspection of underwater structures, repairs and maintenance of offshore platform fire-fighting services and rescue operations.
