Maruti Suzuki reports 19.50% jump in November sales

Maruti Suzuki India, country’s largest car maker, has registered a rise of 19.50% in its total car sales (Domestic + Export) for the month of November 2014 at 110147 units, as against 92140 units in November 2013. The company’s domestic sales rose by 17% in November 2014 at 100024 units, as against 85510 units in corresponding month last year.

Of the total, the company has sold 82306 units of its passenger cars during last month, up by 14.9% as against 71649 units in November 2013. The company’s sales of vans have increased by 52.10% to 12203 units as against 8021 units in November 2013. However, the company’s sales of its utility vehicles drop by 5.6% to 5515 units from 5840 units in November 2013. 

Meanwhile, the company’s exports have increased by 52.70% to 10123 units as against 6630 units in November 2013.
