State Bank of India plunges as RBI keeps the policy rates unchanged

State Bank of India is currently trading at Rs 316.90, down by -2.55 points or -0.80 % from its previous closing of Rs. 319.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 319.55 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 322.75 and Rs. 311.75 respectively. So far 2047264 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 327.10 on 01-Dec-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 145.60 on 14-Feb-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 327.10 and Rs. 301.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 238791.40 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 58.60 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 31.25 % and 8.03 % respectively.

RBI keeps the policy repo rate under the liquidity adjustment facility (LAF) unchanged at 8.0 per cent. Consequently, the reverse repo rate remains unchanged at 7.0 per cent, and the marginal standing facility (MSF) rate and the Bank Rate at 9.0 per cent.
