Aegis Logistics gains on foraying into marine bunkering sector

Aegis Logistics is currently trading at Rs. 160.90, up by 0.45 points or 0.28% from its previous closing of Rs. 160.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 160.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 164.80 and Rs. 159.05 respectively. So far 4039 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 314.50 on 07-Apr-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs. 100.05 on 02-Jan-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 170.15 and Rs. 150.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 533.06 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 62.43% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 8.80% and 28.77% respectively. 

Aegis Logistics, oil and gas sector logistics company has forayed into the marine bunkering sector and likely to offer fuels and servicing solutions to clients.

Recently, Aegis Group has ventured into new line of business and has launched its marine products division. The marine products division aims to provide complete solution to marine community which would include extensive range of bunker fuels, marine lubricants and technical services at various ports. Aegis Logistics is into the business of importing, marketing and distributing of bulk LPG and propane. The company is also engaged in retailing auto LPG under the Aegis Autogas brand through its stations spread across eight states in India.
