Eicher Motors shines as its JV plans to sell buses to Tamil Nadu STCs

Eicher Motors is currently trading at Rs. 14191.75, up by 162.30 points or 1.16% from its previous closing of Rs. 14029.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 13988.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 14217.85 and Rs. 13772.00 respectively. So far 1805 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 15773.30 on 04-Dec-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 4405.00 on 12-Feb-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 15420.00 and Rs. 13946.45 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 37933.73 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.99% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 24.49% and 20.53% respectively.

Eicher Motors and Volvo Group’s joint venture firm, VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) is planning to sell its buses to the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporations (STCs).

Recently, the company had sold buses to STCs in States such as Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Karnataka.
