Seamec soars on entering into charter with Leighton India Contractors

Seamec is currently trading at Rs. 106.85, up by 3.50 points or 3.39% from its previous closing of Rs. 103.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 104.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 108.00 and Rs. 103.10 respectively. So far 9856 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 159.00 on 30-Sep-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 56.00 on 23-Dec-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 118.70 and Rs. 98.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 361.20 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.00% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 2.13% and 22.88% respectively.

Seamec enters into charter of its vessel with Leighton India Contractors with effect from December 11, 2014. The charter is likely to continue till end of this ongoing season. The value of the contract would be around Rs 54.27 crore.

Seamec is engaged in the business of operating multi-support vessels for diving and for providing underwater/sub-sea engineering services, deep sea diving, and inspection of underwater structures, repairs and maintenance of offshore platform fire-fighting services and rescue operations.
