KEC International bags orders worth Rs 1243 crore

KEC International (KEC), a global infrastructure EPC major, an RPG Group company has secured new orders worth Rs 1243 crore in its Transmission & Distribution, Railways and Cables businesses.

Under ransmission & Distribution Businesses, the company has bagged orders in India, Saudi Arabia and the Americas amounting to Rs 995 crore. In India, the company won three turnkey orders from Power Grid Corporation of India; an order for 765 kV transmission line, another for 220/33 kV GIS substation and third for 400 kV transmission line, while in Saudi, the company got two orders from Saudi Electricity Company; an order for construction of 380 kV Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) and another, for shifting of 380 kV and 132 kV OHTL and in Americas, the company’s wholly owned subsidiary SAE Towers has secured orders for the supply of lattice towers, monopoles and hardware from the United States, Brazil and Mexico. In addition, SAE has also secured an EPC order in Brazil.

Under Railways business, the company has secured an order of Rs 137 crore for railway electrification from Central Organization of Railway Electrification. Meanwhile, under Cables Business, the company has secured orders worth Rs 111 crore for the supply of Power and Telecom Cables.

KEC International is a global infrastructure Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) major. It has a presence in the verticals of power transmission, power systems, cables, railways, telecom and water.
