Dalmia Bharat spurts on commencing trial run of its integrated cement plant at Belgaum

Dalmia Bharat is currently trading at Rs. 425.85, up by 8.55 points or 2.05 % from its previous closing of Rs. 417.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 428.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 432.70 and Rs. 422.30 respectively. So far 639 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 567.00 on 18-Nov-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 233.15 on 02-May-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 438.20 and Rs. 408.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3457.45 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 62.80 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 14.06 % and 23.15 % respectively.

Dalmia Bharat’s subsidiary company - Dalmia Cement (Bharat) (DCBL), has commenced its new cement plant of 2.5 million tonnes (MnT) at Belgaum in state of Karnataka on March 23, 2015 and has now started trial production.  With this commissioning of the 2.5 MnT Belgaum plant, the total installed cement capacity of Dalmia Bharat Group would be 24 MnT.

Dalmia Bharat is a cement manufacturer with plants in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh with a capacity of nine million tonnes per annum. The company is engaged in the business of cement, thermal power & other businesses.
