Hindustan Construction Company (HCC) is currently trading at Rs. 32.85, up by 1.80 points or 5.80% from its previous closing of Rs. 31.05 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 31.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 33.25 and Rs. 31.30 respectively. So far 2017646 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 49.00 on 01-Jul-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 16.25 on 31-Mar-2014.

HCC has secured contract worth Rs 392.13 crore from the Ministry of road transport and highway (MoRTH) for 4-darling of 26km long road on NH52 between Jamugurihat to Biswanath Chariali by-pass in Assam. The project will be completed in 36 months.
The project is part of the Special Accelerated Road Development Programme for North Eastern Region (SARDP-NE) and includes rehabilitation, upgradation and augmentation of the existing carriageway, major and minor bridges, culverts, road intersections, interchanges, drains, etc.
In addition to this, the company is lowest bidder in contracts worth Rs 4,341 crore in various segments for which the final orders are yet to be received. The order-book position as of December 2014 stands at Rs 14,307 crore.
