Gammon India zooms on securing two projects worth Rs 840 crore

Gammon India is currently trading at Rs. 23.60, up by 2.85 points or 13.73% from its previous closing of Rs. 20.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 23.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 24.90 and Rs. 23.05 respectively. So far 388470 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 44.70 on 19-Sep-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 16.00 on 09-May-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 24.90 and Rs. 19.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 326.24 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 34.99% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 18.75% and 46.26% respectively.

Gammon India has secured two projects worth Rs 840 crore. Of total, the company has bagged order worth Rs 516.73 crore for construction of diaphragm wall, jetty, piles, interlocking roads, guide walls and MS railing etc.

The company also bagged another order worth Rs 323.92 crore. The Scope of Work includes 4 laning of NH-37A from km. 0.00 (Kaliabor Tiniali Road Junction) to km. 17.300 (Dolabari Road Junction) including Construction of New Brahmaputra Bridge on EPC Basis in the State of Assam under Phase A of SARDP-NE.

Gammon India provides engineering services and construction of services. It operates in plan, design and undertakes construction of roads, highways, bridges and other projects.
