Linde India gains on turning black in Q1

Linde India is currently trading at Rs. 406.10, up by 2.05 points or 0.51 % from its previous closing of Rs. 404.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 419.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 420.00 and Rs. 402.00 respectively. So far 11159 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 479.00 on 08-Jan-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 284.00 on 14-May-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 445.00 and Rs. 396.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3463.39 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.00% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 16.74% and 8.26% respectively.

Linde India has reported a net profit of Rs 14.38 crore for first quarter ended March 31, 2015 as compared to a net loss of Rs 49 lakh for the quarter ended March 31, 2014. The company’s total income has increased by 7.26% to Rs 372.09 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 346.89 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Linde India is engaged in manufacturing of industrial gases and undertaking engineering projects. The company supplies more than 20,000 gases and mixtures - that makes steel plants more efficient, helps conserving environment, preservation of food, helping hospitals sustain lives and in general makes customers more productive.
