Indsil Hydro Power surges on resuming its smelting operations

Indsil Hydro Power and Manganese is currently trading at Rs. 37.10, up by 0.45 points or 1.23% from its previous closing of Rs. 36.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 35.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 37.75 and Rs. 35.00 respectively. So far 1350 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 56.95 on 25-Nov-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 22.50 on 02-May-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 39.50 and Rs. 35.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 58.94 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.36% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 6.66% and 38.98% respectively.

Indsil Hydro Power and Manganese has resumed its smelting operations and the lay-off declared for the workmen has been lifted. Earlier, the company had suspended its smelting operations due to very weak market conditions.

Indsil Hydro Power and Manganese is engaged in the generation of electricity from its captive hydro electric power plant in Kerala, India. The company also involves in ferro alloy smelting.
