State Bank of Travancore unveils tech learning centres for customers

State Bank of Travancore (SBT), an associate of State Bank of India, has unveiled tech learning centres at all regional offices across the country with a view to empowering customers through technology awareness. The interactive sessions will be held on the third Friday of every month between 3 pm and 5 pm, venues for which will be announced well in advance.

These sessions will seek to address specific queries from customers, and create at large awareness about the bank’s technology initiatives. These will be in addition to the guidance on tech services being provided through product brochures, information on Web site and interaction on customer helpline or with frontline staff at branches.

State Bank of Travancore (SBT) was incorporated in 1945 as Travancore Bank sponsored by the erstwhile princely state of Travancore. Under a special statute of the Indian Parliament (SBI subsidiary Banks Act 1959) it has been made an Associate of the State Bank of India and a member of the State Bank Group, the largest banking group in India. The Bank is alive to its developmental role and actively participates in meeting need based requirements of Small and Medium Enterprises and Agriculture.
