Apollo Hospitals trades with traction on the bourses

Apollo Hospitals Enterprise is currently trading at Rs. 1286.20, up by 14.20 points or 1.12% from its previous closing of Rs. 1272.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1265.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1292.85 and Rs. 1262.15 respectively. So far 3831 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1479.80 on 18-Mar-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 900.00 on 26-May-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1292.85 and Rs. 1215.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 17863.67 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 34.35% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 46.02% and 18.88% respectively.

Apollo Hospitals in association with HDFC Bank has launched co-branded medical benefits card which allows corporates to disburse medical allowances to their employees and has insurance cover for accidents.

The card comes with a free accidental death insurance of Rs 3 lakh and accident hospitalization insurance of Rs 30,000 apart from discounts at Apollo network including Apollo Hospitals, Apollo Pharmacies, Apollo Clinics and Apollo White Dental.

With the HDFC Bank-Apollo Medical Benefits Cards, corporates can load the specified allowance onto the card each month, which can be used by employees for medical expenditure at pan-India Visa/MasterCard outlets.
