KEC International bags orders worth Rs 1,002 crore

KEC International (KEC), a global infrastructure EPC major and an RPG Group company has secured new orders worth Rs 1,002 crore in its Transmission & Distribution, Railways and Cables businesses. Under Transmission & Distribution Businesses, the company has secured orders in India, Africa, the Middle East and the Americas amounting to Rs 613 crore. In India, it has secured orders of Rs 458 crore for four orders of Rs 372 crore from PGCIL for construction of Transmission Lines in the Northern, Southern, Eastern (Indo- Bangladesh) and Central Regions. A turnkey order of Rs 86 crore for construction of transmission lines and Substation in Southern India from Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation.

Separately, the company has bagged international orders worth Rs 115 crore for underground cabling works in Saudi Arabia. In addition, it secured small orders totaling Rs 40 crore in Africa, the Middle East and the Americas.

Under Railways Business, the company has secured a composite order of Rs 288 crore for electrification, civil works, track laying, signaling and telecommunication works in Madhya Pradesh from Rail Vikas Nigam while under Cables Business, the company has secured orders of Rs 101 crore for the supply of Power and Telecom Cables.

KEC International is a global infrastructure Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) major. It has a presence in the verticals of power transmission, power systems, cables, railways, telecom and water.
