Neyveli Lignite trades higher on the BSE

Neyveli Lignite Corporation is currently trading at Rs. 82.10, up by 0.35 points or 0.43% from its previous closing of Rs. 81.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 81.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 83.00 and Rs. 80.55 respectively. So far 14490 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 106.00 on 08-Jul-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 65.25 on 27-Mar-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 85.35 and Rs. 78.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 13924.99 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 90.00% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 8.35% and 1.65% respectively.

Neyveli Lignite Corporation’s (NLC) Unit I (2x250 MW) of Thermal Power Station -II Expansion Project at Neyveli, has reportedly completed its continuous operation for 72 hours starting from June 30 to July 03 and qualified for Commercial Operation. With this, the power generating capacity of Neyveli Lignite Corporation has increased from 3,490 Mw to 3,740 Mw.

Neyveli Lignite Corporation is engaged in the business of lignite mining and power generation. At present, the company has four opencast lignite mines.
