Reliance Infra bags Rs 1,725 crore road project

Anil Ambani group firm Reliance Infrastructure’s consortium has bagged a project worth Rs 1,725 crore for building roads in Maharashtra from the National Highway Authority of India. The company led consortium has received the Pune-Satara six laning road project in Maharashtra. The project would be build on design, build, finance, operate and transfer (toll) basis and is expected to be operational by July 2012.

 

With eight road projects totalling to 655 km, RInfra will be investing more than Rs 6,500 crore for the road sector. R Infra is confident of increasing its investments in road projects over Rs 20,000 crore by 2012. R Infra's two road projects in Tamil Nadu worth Rs 760 crore are now commercially operational. The rest are at the various stages of development.
