Global Offshore Services moves up as its arm bags contract worth Rs 37.50 crore

Global Offshore Services is currently trading at Rs. 80.00, up by 0.45 points or 0.57% from its previous closing of Rs. 79.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 79.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 84.75 and Rs. 78.50 respectively. So far 16242 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 142.50 on 07-Apr-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs. 62.05 on 18-Jan-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 93.00 and Rs. 76.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 200.67 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 32.62% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 6.82% and 60.56% respectively.

Global Offshore Services’ vessels operated by the company's wholly owned subsidiary has bagged a contract worth Rs 37.50 crore  for a period of 4 years with an option for further extension of 4 years in Brazil. The contract is scheduled to commence in the last quarter of CY 2012.

Garware Offshore Services presently owns and operates a fleet of six anchor handling tugs cum vessels (AHTSV’S) and five platform supply vessels (PSV'S). The company's vessels are working in various markets including India, Europe and Far East.
