Apollo Hospitals to expand footprint in Bangladesh

Apollo Hospitals is planning to expand its footprint in Bangladesh by opening one more hospital in Chittagong in the next few years. The company already has hospital in Dhaka. This is to cater to an increasing number of patients from Bangladesh in the Kolkata facility.

The company is also contemplating a 200-bed hospital in south Kolkata. It now has a 510-bed unit in the northern part of the city. Further, the company is planning to set up a new facility in the North-East region, particularly Assam.

Apollo Hospitals is the leading private sector healthcare provider in Asia and owns and manages a network of speciality hospitals and clinics, a chain of Pharmacy retail outlets across the country, and provides Consultancy Services for commissioning and managing the Speciality Hospitals.
