Bayer CropScience declines on reporting 15% fall in Q2 net profit

Bayer CropScience is currently trading at Rs. 3550.00, down by 122.30 points or 3.33% from its previous closing of Rs 3672.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 3670.75 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 3699.00 and Rs. 3536.00 respectively. So far 1798 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 4234.00 on 16-Apr-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2244.00 on 23-Oct-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 3861.35 and Rs. 3624.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 12974.30 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 68.96% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 19.54% and 11.50% respectively.

Bayer CropScience has reported 14.76% fall in its net profit at Rs 150.10 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015 as compared to Rs 176.10 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The company’s total income has decreased by 5.56% to Rs 1198.20 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 1268.70 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Bayer CropScience is engaged in manufacturing and marketing of crop-protection solutions, and trades in seeds on behalf of group company Bayer Bioscience.
