Seamec surges on receiving tenure extension for its vessel ‘Seamec Princess’

Seamec is currently trading at Rs. 115.50, up by 2.00 points or 1.76% from its previous closing of Rs. 113.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 114.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 116.00 and Rs. 114.00 respectively. So far 8024 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 139.50 on 14-Nov-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 84.15 on 29-Apr-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 116.00 and Rs. 112.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 391.88 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.00% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.85% and 24.15% respectively.

Seamec has received extension of tenure for one of its vessel ‘Seamec Princess’ in Persian Gulf. The tenure of the contract of the vessel has been extended from October 13, 2015 to October 23, 2015. The value of the extended contract is $270,000.

Seamec is engaged in the business of operating multi-support vessels for diving and for providing underwater/sub-sea engineering services, deep sea diving, and inspection of underwater structures, repairs and maintenance of offshore platform fire-fighting services and rescue operations.
