Tata Power’s JV unveils unique smartphone app ‘Sajag’

Tata Power Delhi Distribution (TPDDL), a joint venture (JV) of Tata Power and the Government of Delhi, has launched a unique smartphone app ‘Sajag’ to help monitor energy usage and calculate power savings. The app is designed to make people, especially school children, aware of the need to conserve energy and empower them to become future energy ambassadors.

Sajag app will connect, educate and empower people through its several interesting features such as calculation of energy usage / saving, energy efficient options for homes and identification of energy efficient appliances, movies and educational videos about energy conservation, energy saving tips and renewable energy. The app aims to educate, enlighten and empower people to confidently navigate their way towards renewable energy reliance, away from fossil fuel dependence. The Sajag app is available for download on Google Play and can also be downloaded from TPDDL’s website.
