Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited (KPTL), a leading EPC player in power and infrastructure contracting sector has secured orders worth Rs 950 crore. With the new orders, the company's total order book is currently over Rs 5,500 crore.
The company has won three contracts from Power Grid Corporation worth Rs 546 crore. The projects, comprising 400kv, 765kv and 765kv of EPC work in power, have to be delivered in next 21-27 months. Moreover, KPTL recently ventured into Railways EPC contracts by securing four contracts worth Rs 325 crore under separate joint ventures. The projects include complete track renewal of 85 kms from Bangladesh Railways for Kalukhali-Bhatiapara section, construction of second section of Kharagpur to Haldia railway line and two projects from eastern and south eastern railways.
KPTL has also been awarded an order by Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) to lay 280 kms, 14'/10' product pipeline between Saraipalli-Raipur and Saraipalli-Korba in Chattisgarh worth Rs 80 crore. The company's order book is in excess of Rs 5,500 crore on consolidated basis (including JMC) the order book is in excess of Rs 9,500 crore.crackcrack
