Westlife Development gains on the buzz to double its outlets to 500 over next few years

Westlife Development is currently trading at Rs. 229.60, up by 6.00 points or 2.68% from its previous closing of Rs. 223.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 240.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 240.00 and Rs. 218.40 respectively. So far 1,278 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 344.90 on 05-Mar-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 211.00 on 03-Feb-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 266.40 and Rs. 215.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3,571.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 62.19% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 28.43% and 9.39% respectively.

Westlife Development is reportedly planning to double its outlets from 223 now across 29 cities to 500 over the next few years. In this regard, the company will invest about Rs 750 crore over the next five years and about Rs 150 crore this year.

Westlife Development focuses on putting up and operating Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) in India through its subsidiary Hardcastle Restaurants (HRPL). The Company operates a chain of McDonald's restaurants in west and south India, having a master franchisee relationship with McDonald's Corporation USA, through the latter's Indian subsidiary.
