KNR Constructions surges on receiving order worth Rs 295.19 crore

KNR Construction is currently trading at Rs. 457.00, up by 8.90 points or 1.99% from its previous closing of Rs. 448.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 450.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 462.60 and Rs. 445.00 respectively. So far 4072 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 651.75 on 19-Nov-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 350.00 on 24-Feb-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 485.00 and Rs. 427.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1286.65 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 60.75% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 27.24% and 12.00% respectively.

KNR Constructions has received an order worth Rs 295.19 crore for the construction of two tier flyovers at five road junction including construction of flyover upto Ramakrishna road junction and four road junctions in Salem city, Tamil Nadu. The order is to be completed within a period of 39 months from the appointed date.

KNR Constructions is an infrastructure development company providing engineering, procurement and construction services across various fast growing sectors, namely, roads and highways, irrigation and urban water infrastructure management.
