MOIL advances after MP government grants mining lease on over 48.974 hectare land

MOIL is currently trading at Rs. 211.00, up by 4.15 points or 2.01% from its previous closing of Rs. 206.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 209.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 215.00 and Rs. 209.95 respectively. So far 6,476 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 295.00 on 13-Apr-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 180.10 on 12-Feb-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 215.00 and Rs. 197.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3,539.76 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 80.00% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 9.81% and 10.19% respectively.

MOIL has been granted mining lease on over 48.974 hectare in village Lugma, Tehsil Paraswada of Balaghat District (Madhya Pradesh) by Government of Madhya Pradesh (MP). The said lease has been executed and registered by the company. This area falls under Ukwa Mine of the company.

MOIL is the largest iron ore company in India and fifth largest in world. It currently operates seven underground mines (Kandri, Munsar, Beldongri, Gumgaon, Chikla, Balaghat and Ukwa mines) and three opencast mines (Dongri Buzurg, Sitapatore/Sukli, and Tirodi).
