Trident has commissioned its new yarn spinning unit with an installed capacity of 76,176 spindles at its Budni facility in Madhya Pradesh and 1,664 rotors at its Sanghera facility in Punjab. The company has targeted of extensively increasing the production capacity of the company to 5,00,352 spindles and 5,624 rotors in its major yarn expansion project.
The new plant is equipped with latest state of the art technology that manufactures combed yarn and compact yarn in the count range of 40s to 100s. It uses the latest link system, automatic roving transportation, auto waste collection systems and a superior ring spinning machine that ensures better quality, more productivity, process efficiency and optimizes use of manpower.
Subsequent to the commissioning of this yarn spinning unit, the total yarn spinning capacity of the company has increased to 3,65,904 spindles and 3,584 rotors. The Company is further expanding its yarn spinning capacity by setting up of 1,34,448 spindles and 2,040 rotors, which will be operational by third quarter of 2013.
With addition of new manufacturing facilities, the primary focus of Trident would be more on value added yarn for niche segment of high end International markets. It will cater to the requirements of the top-notch domestic customers as well.
