Pfizer enters into agreement for sale its four products to Piramal Enterprises

Pfizer has entered into an agreement with Piramal Enterprises for the sale of four products marketed by its Global Established Products business in India. The brands Neko Soap, Sloans, Ferradol and Waterburys Compound will be divested to Piramal Enterprises, for a consideration of Rs 110 crore, subject to adjustments for inventory on closing. The closure of this transaction is subject to obtaining requisite regulatory approvals and fulfillment of certain conditions by the parties.

It offers products in the areas of anti-infectives, anti-fungal, anti-TB, neuropathic pain, antifibrinolytic, dermatology, dyslipidemia, gastrointestinal, GI-hyperacidity, GERD, gynecology, immune enhancer, inflammation, multi-vitamin, neurology, nutraceutical, ophthalmology, otology, respiratory, trichology, urinary alkanizer, urology, and cardiovascular, including hypertension, acidity, smoking cessation, and angina. It operates as a subsidiary of Pfizer Inc.
