Paints and coatings manufacturer Akzo Nobel has received fair trade regulator, Competition Commission of India’s (CCI) approval to acquire the industrial coatings business of BASF SE. In February, Akzo Nobel had made an offer to acquire BASF’s industrial coatings business for Euro 475 million.
