Bharti Infratel in discussion to acquire Tower Vision: Report

Bharti Infratel is reportedly in discussion to acquire Tower Vision India, a company owned by a group of international financial investors. Tower Vision, which has about 8,500 towers with a tenancy ratio of 1.8, is expected to be valued at about Rs 4,000 crore, including debt of about Rs 1,000 crore. Tower Vision has an annual turnover of about Rs 1,000 crore with an operating margin of about 25%.

Bharti Infratel is a provider of tower and related infrastructure and on a consolidated basis, it is one of the largest tower infrastructure providers in India, based on the number of towers that Bharti Infratel owns and operates and the number of towers owned or operated by Indus, that are represented by Bharti Infratel’s 42% equity interest in Indus.
