Surana Telecom and Power trades in green on the BSE

Surana Telecom is currently trading at Rs. 16.40, up by 1.35 points or 8.97% from its previous closing of Rs. 15.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 16.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 16.40 and Rs. 16.40 respectively.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 19.75 on 06-Apr-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs. 12.05 on 24-Nov-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 16.70 and Rs. 14.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 34.12 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 62.69% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.63% and 36.68% respectively.

Surana Telecom and Power has concluded its divestment in its subsidiary Yellow Renewable Energy. The said transaction completed on March 30, 2012. Pursuant to divestment, Yellow Renewable Energy ceased to be a subsidiary of the company.

Earlier, the company had received an approval whereby the board resolved to divest its stake in Yellow Renewable Energy. The board at its meeting held on January 28, 2012 had approved for the same.

Surana Telecom & Power is engaged in the business of manufacturing of petro products such as petroleum jelly and telecom products such as jointing kits.
