Adani Transmission acquires 100% equity stake in NKTL

Adani Transmission has acquired 100% equity share capital of a special purpose vehicle (SPV) company North Karanpura Transco (NKTL), a wholly owned subsidiary of REC Transmission Projects Company (RECTPCL). Pursuant to the acquisition, NKTL has become a wholly owned subsidiary of the company.

NKTL was incorporated in November, 2015 by RECTPCL to establish Transmission system for immediate evacuation for North Karanpura (3x660MW) generation project of NTPC along with creation of 400/220KV sub-station at Dhanbad (ERSS-XIX) on BOOM basis and the company has acquired it from RECTPCL pursuant to competitive bidding process carried out by RECTPCL.

Adani Transmission is engaged in providing establishing, commissioning, operating and maintaining electric power transmission systems in India. It offers operation and maintenance (O&M) support services. Adani Transmission operates as a subsidiary of Adani Enterprises.
